Window treatments

Three ways to handle a window.

Shutters

Built to the opening, not to the nearest standard size.

Plantation shutters in hardwood and composite, hinged to the frame and finished to match your trim. They stay with the house — the one window treatment that reads as architecture rather than as something hung in front of it.

Blinds & Shades

Every degree between blackout and wide open.

Wood and faux-wood blinds, cellular shades that hold heat out of a west-facing room, roller and roman shades, woven naturals, and sheers. Chosen for how a room is actually used at the hour it gets its worst light.

Motorization

For the windows nobody wants to reach.

Battery and hardwired motors for stairwell glass, tall transoms, and anything above a tub. Schedules, remotes, and integration with the system you already run. We handle the wiring conversation with your electrician.

Remodeling

And the room it lives in.

Remodeling

The room around the window, not only the window.

Forty years of working inside other people's houses turns into a second line of work: renovations and home modifications, taken on with the same crew and the same habit of measuring before promising. Trim and casing that finally lines up, a room reworked around how it actually gets used, or a whole-house project run start to finish.

See what that covers

How it goes

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. Measure

We come to the house. Every opening gets measured to the eighth of an inch, and we look at where the sun actually lands before recommending anything.

  2. Select

Samples in your own light, against your own trim. You get a written, itemised estimate — not a number over the phone.

  3. Install

Our own installers, not a subcontractor. Level, square, and tested before we leave.

  4. Stand behind it

Hunter Douglas lifetime warranties, and a local number that still answers in ten years.

In their words

Forty years of referrals.

The installation was flawless. They took the time to get every window right rather than rushing to the next job.

Harry

Honest people. They told me what I did not need, which is not something I hear often.

Jerry

They handled our whole renovation — modifications throughout the house — and the result was exactly what we hoped for.
